INSPIRE Transport Networks (tn-ro) Iceland
ELF Transport Networks (TN) Iceland is one of 12 themes in the European Location Project (ELF).
The purpose of ELF is to create harmonised cross-border, cross-theme and cross-resolution pan-European reference data from national contributions. The goal is to provide INSPIRE-compliant data for Europe.

The transport layer contains both line and polygons. The linelayer shows the transport network but the polygon layer contains the airports.

The dataset is migrated from the icelandic dataset "IS 50V Samgöngur", which is at the scale 1:50.000. The data contains both lines and poligones. The lines show the road system and the polygones surrond the airport areas.
The processing steps: Feature mapping from the national datamodel to the INSPIRE datamodel. A python program build to migrate the national data according to the feature mapping.
